Modern Society 101: Divide and Conquer
Society is built upon rules and principles that the public should follow. However, what if mandates are written by the individuals who prioritize their own benefit over people’s commonwealth.
Political Strucutalims of Society.
Politics play a major role in how society is built. Depending on the current system, the public set of ethics and morals may differ. During ‘30 and ’40, where nationalism, totalitarianism, and communism had their ideological peak, the level of average empathy and care for other members of society has been at its lowest in modern history. People vote and elect representatives that they can rely on their beliefs. Naturally, these entities are as close to the mass political type as they can be. In such reality, the working and middle class would favour politician that promises lower tax income, social care/benefits, and economic stability based on financial equality within the society.
Many intertwine personal issues and their solutions with political agendas. The public wants to believe that their choice of president, member of parliament, or prime minister is a correct decision. However, such views can be and often are blinded by the true meaning of parties manifestos. History has proven to us that oppressed nation tends to resolve social issues in the most radical option. During the early 20th century starved, abused, and maltreated Russians with the leadership of communist Lenin and Trotsky abolished the outdated monarchy by murdering the Romanov family and seizing the power by the force. Those that have been abused by the elitists choose “lesser evil” and let the blood be spilt over their nation. When we face starvation, war, financial crisis or spreading disease and leaders are living lavish life without any guilt. That is when people are open and vulnerable for any alternative. We tend to choose between evil and lesser evil but at the end of the day, our situation won’t drastically change. In the case of the 20th century, Russian people have made their choice that led to the rise of the bolsheviks and the Soviet Union later. The rest is a bloody history of countless political murders and Sybrian work camps where millions were tormented to death.
Germans that were humiliated and broken after the Great War, elected radical Hitler that promised better life to the masses and more importantly was able to point the enemy… Both of these historical events have one thing in common, Russian communists told people that the aristocracy is at fault for their misfortunate and German nationalists pushed everyone to believe that the Jews are the reason for the economical disaster at the time. Finding the enemy of the state is crucial for successful elections. Even in the western democracy public witnesses the utilization of this political strategy. Margaret Thatcher declared war on Falklands islands right before the elections and Bill Clinton started the war on terrorism. People have tendencies to balance the focus between national and personal issues. Once a political party is able to erase one of those and control another, they will have power over any government instance.
Today, governments around the globe still use elaborative techniques to divine society. In the USA, the people experience a system that is fundamentally rigged to set people apart from each other and distribute them into ethnic, economical and/or political groups. Minority neighbourhoods are often denied access to better schooling, hospitals and their house are set to lose value on the market. Such distribution of wealth is not a new concept for USA and Canada. Both countries seem to balance it pretty well in order to keep people and their cultures separated from each other. The corporate political system allows investors, hedge funds and global corporations to pass laws they want. Many house representatives, ministers and even senators receive funds in the form of donations. The fundament of a broken system balances our lawmakers on the money from corporations.
The main issue of a global system that most of us in the western world experience right now is how we are all made to be apart. If you are a prime minister or president and no matter what you want to benefit yourself and keep the power the only way is to keep people’s attention from you and make them hate each other. Once society unifies and their country leadership is filled with narcissism, selfishness, lack of remorse and responsibility that is the time when revolution is born and politicians lose their job.
What people can do to rise above the cloud of manipulation is to let go of hate and anger. These are the emotions that government easily uses against us. Unemployment rises because of immigrants, the spreading pandemic is the fault of unvaccinated, record-breaking crime rates are the cause of minorities that sell drugs. Every listed above issue can be traced back to the government and their decision making. If you only hold your own benefit there will be some collateral damage. On the scale of political schemes and laws, the people are the ones that suffer this damage. Just like we are suffering now the ambition of politicians for maximum surveillance and greediness of big pharmacological firms. When two demons dance the world shakes, and here we are grasping for breath during the avalanche of evil.
